Shipping
How fast do orders ship?
Orders placed before 1pm ET ship the same business day. After that, the next business day. You get a tracking number the moment the label is scanned, not when it is created.
How much is shipping?
Free on US orders over $75. Below that it is a flat $6.95 standard or $15 express. International rates are calculated live at checkout — no surprises after you have entered your card.
Do you ship internationally?
Canada and the UK today, more as we grow. Duties and import taxes are collected at checkout where we can, so nothing arrives with a bill attached.
Returns
Why 100 days?
Because you cannot evaluate a travel bag in a hallway. Thirty days often means the bag has not been on a trip yet. Take it somewhere. If it disappoints you, send it back.
Do I pay for return shipping?
No. US returns are free with a prepaid label from your order page. International returns are at your cost, which we hate but cannot yet fix.
Can it be used?
Yes. Used, packed, flown with, rained on. We want it back with mileage on it — that is the only way you learn anything. Please empty the pockets.
Warranty
What is covered?
5 years on manufacturing and materials: zipper failure, seam separation, hardware breakage, coating delamination under normal use. Registered to your order, so there is no card to lose.
What is not covered?
Damage from an airline or a conveyor, deliberate damage, and ordinary cosmetic wear on the outer fabric. The optional Gear Guard add-on covers the accidental category for three years.
How do I claim?
Email help@thebuddybags.com with your order number and a photo. We do not need the bag back to make a decision, and we do not make you prove you are not lying.

Which set should I start with?
If you already own a bag you like, start with The Cube System — it changes the most for the least. If you are replacing a bag, The Complete Kit costs less than the pieces bought separately and arrives together.
Are they machine washable?
The cubes, dopp kit and pouch are: cold cycle, hang dry, no bleach, no fabric softener. The backpack should be spot-cleaned — a washing machine destroys the DWR finish and the padding.
Is the fabric actually recycled?
The shells are RPET — post-consumer recycled polyester. It is a real improvement over virgin polyester and it is still plastic. We are not going to over-claim on this.
Orders & payment
What payment methods do you take?
All major cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it has not shipped, yes — email help@thebuddybags.com quickly and we will catch it. Once the label is scanned it becomes a return, which is still free.
Do you do wholesale or corporate gifting?
Yes, from 25 units. Email hello@thebuddybags.com and tell us roughly what you need and when.
