Shipping & returns
Free US shipping over $75. 100 days to change your mind, on used gear.
Shipping
Orders placed before 1pm ET on a business day ship the same day. Everything else ships the next business day. You will receive tracking when the carrier scans the package, not when the label is generated — a label that sits in a warehouse for three days is not a shipment.
- US standard — $6.95, or free over $75. 3–5 business days.
- US express — $15. 1–2 business days.
- Canada & UK — calculated at checkout, duties collected up front where possible.
We do not ship to PO boxes or freight forwarders, because we cannot honour the warranty on a package we cannot trace.
Returns
You have 100 days from delivery. The gear may be used. In fact we would prefer it were — take it on a trip, because a bag you have not travelled with is a bag you have not evaluated.
- US returns are free. Start one from the link in your order confirmation email and print the prepaid label.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of the return being scanned by the carrier — not when it lands in our warehouse.
- International returns are at your cost. We are working on this.
- Personalised items and clearance items marked final sale are not returnable.
Exchanges
Order the replacement and return the original. It is faster than a true exchange and you are not waiting on our inventory system to catch up.
Damaged or wrong items
Email help@thebuddybags.com with a photo within 30 days. We ship a replacement immediately and sort out the paperwork afterwards.
