Privacy

What we collect, why, and how to make us delete it.

Last updated: 2026-09-08.

What we collect

  • Order information — name, email, shipping address, phone if you give it, and what you bought. We need this to send you a bag.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive a token and the last four digits.
  • Email address, if you subscribe. One email a month, unsubscribe in one click.
  • Basic analytics — pages viewed, referring site, approximate region. We use a privacy-respecting analytics setup with no cross-site tracking and no advertising cookies.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not run third-party ad pixels on this site.

Who we share it with

Only the companies required to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our shipping carriers, and our email provider. Each is bound by contract to use it only for that purpose.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@thebuddybags.com and we will action it within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you have these rights under GDPR; if you are in California you have them under the CCPA/CPRA. We apply them to everyone regardless of where you live.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (your cart, essentially) and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
